Ever since I could wrap my hand around a crayon and work a pair of scissors, I have loved to draw and paint and manipulate paper. I love ink, paints, markers, crayons, chalk, makeup, and Mod Podge. I love taking my own art works and mixing up with other ephemera, things I have been gleaning for years like old magazines, fabrics and letters, feathers, leaves, shells- anything that strikes me with it’s color or texture or shape.
All my life I have embellished and decorated nearly everything I come in contact with. It’s only been since I started my card business more than twelve years ago, that I have learned to appreciate clean spaces and unadorned furniture! Now I put most of my creative energy into creating pieces of art that I sell as greeting cards.
